## Narrative
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Expedition. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V099000 (Seat Belts). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 20 MPH,  the passenger seat belt warning was illuminated. On another occasion, while her husband was driving at an undisclosed speed,  and she occupied the passenger seat she observed a loud noise and smoke in the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and inspected. The contact observed that the seat belt would not retract and the covering near the passenger door frame had detached. The contact sustained chest, neck, shoulder, and face injuries. The contact received medical attention. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 112,909.
