## Narrative
The contact owned a 2018 RAM 2500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to slow while turning a corner the vehicle experienced reduced braking performance,  after which the brakes seized causing the vehicle to skid. As a result, the contact lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway coming to a complete stop after colliding with a tree. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The air bags did deploy. A police report was not filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed to a towed yard and deemed a total loss by the contacts insurance provider. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic), but the VIN was not included.
