The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. The contact stated while parking the vehicle in the contact's residential driveway, the brake pedal was depressed, however, the vehicle failed to stop as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle was uncontrollable. In addition, the contact stated that an unknown warning light was illuminated. The contact stated the vehicle went through the backyard and crashed into the kid's wooden play set. The contact's wife was an occupant in the vehicle when the failure occurred. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the local police department for inspection. The vehicle damage had not been accessed. The contact's wife suffered anxiety as a result of the failure. The vehicle was later towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed as catastrophic brake failure.
