No warning lights were illuminated. The driver-side and passenger-side airbags did not deploy. A police report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was towed to the son's residence. The contact stated that while the insurance company was filing the insurance claim, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle's mileage was 120,000 and at the time of the accident, it was discovered that the mileage was 300,000. The insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
