The contact stated that upon shifting from reverse(R) to drive(D), the rearview camera remained engaged for an extended period. Additionally, the contact stated that while reversing on one occasion, the failure recurred, causing the rear end of the vehicle to strike an unoccupied parked vehicle. There was no injury sustained.
