The contact stated that the rear area of the child seat near the white release button presented a safety hazard. The contact noticed that the child would kick near this area, and as a result, the child sustained a blister injury that caused bleeding. The incident occurred inside the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and suggested that the contact place socks on the child’s feet or use a blanket to cover the area. The car seat was not replaced.
