The contact owns a 2019 Audi A4. The contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a crash that had damaged the fuel tank and fuel line. The contact stated that the vehicle had been repaired. The contact had taken the vehicle on a trip, and while driving, the contact smelled gasoline in the cabin. The contact arrived at the destination, but the contact had a headache and felt nauseous and called the Fire Department. The contact was taken to the ER by ambulance. The contact was advised that he had suffered carbon monoxide poisoning. The contact had the vehicle towed to a local dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the charcoal air filter behind the driver's seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact picked the vehicle up and smelled the gasoline odor in the cabin. The contact took the vehicle back to the same dealer and was informed that there was no failure found and that it was normal, and to purchase an air freshener. The vehicle was not repaired.
