The contact owned a 2024 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that while driving at slower speeds at a gas station, attempting to drive into the car wash, the vehicle independently accelerated and crashed into a fence and a nearby tree, where the vehicle came to a stop. No warning light was illuminated. In addition, the contact attempted to depress the brake pedals to stop the vehicle; however, the vehicle continued accelerating and lost control, resulting in the crash.
