The contact stated that the failure had occurred twice previously, but she had been able to push the rear liftgate door up before the most recent failure. Additionally, the rear liftgate inadvertently opened while the vehicle was parked and turned off. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer.
