## Narrative
The contact owned a 2024 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, black smoke was seen coming from under the hood, and the entertainment center screen would flicker. A message "See dealer" was displayed. In addition, the contact managed to safely exit the vehicle, and a fire had started under the hood. The local fire department arrived on scene to extinguish the fire. The local fire department deems the source of the fire to be a battery failure. No injuries were sustained, and no medical attention was sought.  In addition, the contact stated that prior to the failure, the battery was replaced at a local authorized dealer. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed away by the Honda manufacturer, where it was taken by the insurance provider, which deemed it a total loss. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,026.
