WHILE  VAN WAS PARKED ON A SIGHT INCLINE SLIDING DOOR ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE RELEASED BY THEMSELVES AND CAME CRASHING DOWN,  PINNING CHILD BETWEEN  DOOR AND  FRAME. CHILD RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES TO HIS LEGS.   PROBLEM WAS REPORTED TO FORD CUSTOMER'S SERVICE. THE VAN WILL BE CHECKED BY THE DEALERSHIP.   *AK  DEALER SAID THE DOOR WAS DESIGNED ONLY TO STAY OPEN ON LEVEL SURFACES.  *YH
