## Narrative
CAR WAS PULLED INTO THE GARAGE AND PLACED IN PARK WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING.  I EXITED THE CAR AND LEFT THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR OPEN.  AT THIS POINT THE CAR WAS IDLING AND WAS NOT MOVING.  IN APPROXIMATELY 5-10 SECONDS THE CAR STARTED MOVING RAPIDLY BACKWARDS AND PROCEEDED OUT OF THE GARAGE, DOWN THE DRIVEWAY , ACROSS THE GRASS AND WAS STOPPED BY A 10FT  TALL ROW OF SHRUBS AND A CHAINLINK FENCE.  AS THE CAR PROCEEDED OUT OF THE GARAGE THE OPEN DOOR SLAMMED INTO THE GARAGE , BENDING IT BACK AND CAUSING SIGINIFICANT DAMAGE.  LUCKILY, MY 5 AND 3 YEAR OLD WERE SECURELY BUCKLED INTO THEIR CAR SEATS AND WERE NOT INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT.  THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED TO CHRYSLER.   THEY SENT OUT AND INSPECTOR WHO REPORTED NO MECHANICAL ERRORS WITH THE VEHICLE AND THE ACCIDENT WAS DUE TO NEGLIGENCE ON MY PART. *AK
