Afternoon temperatures\nin the desert valleys will climb into the 108 to 114 degree range,\nand may exceed 115 along the Colorado River Valley and 120 in Death\nValley. Overnight lows generally 80 to 95 degrees.\n\n* WHERE...Portions of northwest Arizona, southeast California, and\nsouthern Nevada including the Greater Mojave Desert region.\n\n* WHEN...From 10 AM PDT / MST Thursday to 8 PM PDT / MST Monday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat events.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car\ninteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose\nfitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning\nor evening.
