A prolonged period of\ndangerously hot and humid conditions with little overnight relief\nis expected through the week, which will increase impacts to\nvulnerable populations.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car\ninteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.\n\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments.
