For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to 1.7 ft of\ninundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas\nnear shorelines and tidal waterways.\n\n* WHERE...San Francisco.\n\n* WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, through Friday\nafternoon. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 4 PM Thursday\nJuly 9, to 4 AM PDT Thursday July 16.\n\n* IMPACTS...Dangerous conditions are forecast along the shoreline.\nHazards include sneaker waves, strong rip currents, and large\nbreaking waves. High tide flooding of lots, parks, and roads\nwith only isolated road closures expected.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the San Francisco tidal gauge, high tide\nis expected to be 0.9 ft above normal (6.7 ft MLLW) at 7:25 PM\n7/9, 1.2 ft above normal (7.0 ft MLLW) at 8:17 PM 7/10, 1.5 ft\nabove normal (7.3 ft MLLW) at 9:11 PM 7/11, 1.7 ft above normal\n(7.5 ft MLLW) at 10:06 PM 7/12, 1.7 ft above normal (7.5 ft\nMLLW) at 11:01 PM 7/13, 1.6 ft above normal (7.4 ft MLLW) at\n11:55 PM 7/14, 1.3 ft above normal (7.1 ft MLLW) at 12:48 AM\n7/16. These predictions include both astronomical tides and\nroughly 3-6 inches of additional water mainly from a combination\nof thermal expansion and accumulated sea level rise since the\ntidal datum was established (1983-2001). High tide varies up to\n90 minutes earlier or later along the Pacific Coast and through\nthe San Francisco Bay, respectively.\n\n## Instructions\nStay off of jetties, piers, rocks, and other waterside\ninfrastructure. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous surf\nand NEVER turn your back on the ocean. Monitor local weather,\nsurf and tide forecasts at www.weather.gov/mtr.\n\nIf travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be\nclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of\nunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone\nproperty."}
