Movement was northeast at 15 mph.\n\nHAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.\n\nSOURCE...Radar indicated.\n\nIMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around\nunsecured objects.\n\nLocations impacted include...\nKinston, La Grange, Mount Olive, Deep Run, Beautancus, Graingers,\nWyse Fork, Albertson, Kinston Regional Jetport, Faison, Calypso, and\nSandy Bottom.\n\n## Instructions\nIf outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.\n\nTorrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead\nto localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded\nroadways.\n\nFrequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.\nLightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
