Young children and\npets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any\ncircumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time\noutside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early\nmorning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion\nand heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when\npossible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety\nand Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks\nin shaded or air conditioned environments.
