The flood warning\nhas been extended to better capture the length of time the river is\nexpected tp remain in flood, which also incorporates upcoming\nrainfall this evening and overnight.\n\n* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.\n\n* WHERE...Eel River at Bowling Green.\n\n* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.\n\n* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood water covers considerable\nbottomlands and floods a few county roads including the\nPoland-Bowling Green Road.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 3:30 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 16.6 feet.\n- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours\nending at 3:30 PM EDT Tuesday was 16.6 feet.\n- Forecast...The river will rise to 16.8 feet this evening. It\nwill then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to\n14.3 feet tomorrow evening. It will rise to 14.4 feet early\nThursday morning. It will then fall again and remain below\nflood stage.\n- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.\n- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood\n\n## Instructions\nCaution is urged when walking near riverbanks.\n\nFlooding is occurring or is imminent.
