For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous\nrip currents. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves\nof 6 to 12 feet expected in the surf zone. For the Coastal\nFlood Warning, one to two feet of inundation above ground level\nexpected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.\n\n* WHERE...Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Coastal Atlantic and\nCoastal Ocean.\n\n* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 10 PM EDT this\nevening. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Friday\nafternoon. For the High Surf Advisory, from 8 PM this evening\nto 6 PM EDT Friday. For the Coastal Flood Warning, from 4 PM\nWednesday to 1 AM EDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in\ncoastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal\nwaterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to\nvulnerable structures may begin to occur. Dangerous swimming\nand surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip\ncurrents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into\ndeeper water.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significant beach erosion is likely\nthrough this week and into the weekend. Moderate tidal\nflooding could continue through Friday or perhaps longer.\n\n## Instructions\nA Coastal Flood Warning means that moderate or major tidal\nflooding is occurring or imminent. Be prepared for rising water\nlevels and take appropriate action to protect life and property.\nFollow the recommendations of local emergency management\nofficials.\n\nDo not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be\ndeeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in\ndanger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly\nrepairs.\n\nVisit the National Water Prediction Service at\nhttps://water.noaa.gov/wfo/phi for additional water level and\nflood impact information for your local tide gauge.\n\nInexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to\ndangerous surf conditions.\n\nAlways obey posted Beach Flags. If you enter the surf zone,\nalways have a floatation device with you and swim near a\nlifeguard if possible. If caught in a rip current, relax and\nfloat and do not swim against the current. If able, swim parallel\nto the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or\nwave for help."}
