For the Coastal Flood Advisory,\nup to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-\nlying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.\n\n* WHERE...Eastern Monmouth.\n\n* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Friday\nafternoon. For the High Surf Advisory, from 6 AM Wednesday to\n6 PM EDT Friday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 4 PM\nWednesday to 1 AM EDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding begins on the most\nvulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along\ninland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are\npossible. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and\nlocalized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best\nswimmers away from shore into deeper water.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread minor tidal flooding could\ncontinue through at least Friday evening's high tide or perhaps\nlonger.\n\n## Instructions\nA Coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is\nexpected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some road\nclosures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood.\n\nDo not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal\nflooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The\nwater may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting\nyourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to\ncostly repairs.\n\nVisit the National Water Prediction Service at\nhttps://water.noaa.gov/wfo/phi for additional water level and\nflood impact information for your local tide gauge.\n\nInexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to\ndangerous surf conditions.\n\nAlways obey posted Beach Flags. If you enter the surf zone,\nalways have a floatation device with you and swim near a\nlifeguard if possible. If caught in a rip current, relax and\nfloat and do not swim against the current. If able, swim parallel\nto the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or\nwave for help."}
