Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms\nwill bring some locally heavy showers through tonight. Further north,\na tropical disturbance has produced robust convection across Bikini\nAtoll and the far northern Marshall Islands today. This morning's\nscatterometer shows that gusts could be approaching 40 to 45 knots in\nthe heaviest showers and thunderstorms. Some of this heavy weather\nhas made it as far south of Kwajalein today. Over the next couple of\ndays, model guidance shows a westward shift of the tropical\ndisturbance with a slow weakening trend. Scattered showers will\nremain possible across the RMI this week with a monsoon-like pattern\nremaining in place.\n\nSeas could approach 9 to 12 feet where the strongest winds and\nheaviest showers occur. This would make conditions hazardous to\nSmall Craft across the far northern RMI with extreme choppiness.\nBoaters moving through the Marshall Islands north of Kwajalein\nshould practice enhanced caution over the next day or so.\n\nFor more information keep up to date with the latest information\nfrom the Majuro Weather Service office and your local emergency\nmanagement agency."}
