High rip current risk.\n\n* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County\nCoastal Areas.\n\n* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.\n\n* IMPACTS...Hazardous swimming conditions with high rip current\nand longshore current risk. If you become caught in a rip\ncurrent, yell for help. Remain calm and do not exhaust yourself\nand stay afloat while waiting for help. If you have to swim out\nof a rip current, SWIM PARALLEL TO SHORE and back toward the\nbeach when possible. Do not attempt to swim directly against a\nrip current as you will tire quickly.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest surf will be at south-facing\nbeaches and peak through today. Swell and surf will slowly\nsubside beginning Thursday with a shorter period, but will\nremain elevated into Friday.\n\n## Instructions\nRemain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions."}
