Additional rainfall amounts\nup to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is\nongoing or expected to begin shortly.\n\nHAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.\n\nSOURCE...Radar indicated.\n\nIMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,\nhighways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor\ndrainage and low-lying areas.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nOmega, Quemado and Pietown.\n\nThis includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 34 and 56.\n\n## Instructions\nDo not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway.\nThe water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood\ndeaths occur in vehicles.\n\nIn hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water\ncrossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not\nattempt to cross flooded roads.
