Heaviest\nrainfall is expected from Monday afternoon through Monday night\nassociated with the second front as it pushes into the southern\npanhandle. Rain rates up to 0.10 to 0.15 inch per hour are possible\nas this heavier band moves through. At this time, the highest\nconfidence for seeing these higher rain rates is for Annette Island\nand Ketchikan.\n\nConfidence continues to increase on Monday 24 hour rainfall totals\nbetween 2.00 and 3.00 for Annette Island and Ketchikan, and between\n1.00 and 2.00 inches for Prince of Wales Island. Localized areas may\nsee either higher or lower amounts due to the terrain influence.\n\nWinds are expected to increase into Monday morning following the\nfirst front, with gusts up to 40 mph possible during the day.\n\nAdditional information will be provided as confidence increases on\nevent timing and precipitation totals as it gets closer to Sunday\nnight."}
