The expected rainfall rate is 2 to\n3 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin\nshortly.\n\nExcessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow\nmoving through Piceance Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock,\nmud, vegetation and other loose materials.\n\nHAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing\nflash flooding in and around the Lee Fire Burn Scar.\n\nSOURCE...Radar.\n\nIMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around\nthe Lee Fire Burn Scar.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nmainly rural areas of South Central Rio Blanco County\n\n## Instructions\nThis is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause\nextensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and\nditches in the Lee Fire Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be\nanticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in\nplaces. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.\n\nMove away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of\ncreeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains\nwill likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep\nterrain, especially in and around these areas."}
