Numerous roads\nremain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to\nexcess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow\nmoving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the\nwater from these storms to work through local drainage systems in\nurban areas.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 350 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated high water due to\nrunoff and standing water from previous excessive rainfall.\nFlooding is already occurring in the warned area.\n- Some locations that will experience flooding include...\nOpelousas, Marksville, Bunkie, Simmesport, Melville,\nMoreauville, Cheneyville, Palmetto, Morrow, Bordelonville,\nBayou Current, Effie, Port Barre, Cottonport, Mansura,\nWashington, Hessmer, Evergreen, Plaucheville and Goudeau.\n- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood\n\n## Instructions\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
