Bavi is expected to generally\ntrack west-northwest through the coming days. Although the time\nframe is still uncertain, and Yap and Palau are expected to remain\noutside of Bavi's direct wind field, surging west to southwest winds\naround 20 to 25 knots are expected to develop across the region\nsouth to southwest of the storm. Models suggest west winds around 15\nto 20 knots will begin to pick up for Yap and Palau late Sunday,\npeaking sometime early next week with potential to generate choppy,\nhazardous seas which could make inter-island travel hazardous. As TS\nBavi develops and begins to move north to northeast of the region,\nsurging west to southwest swell looks to develop, which will lead to\nelevated, and potentially hazardous surf in the first half of next\nweek.\n\nFor more information on Tropical Storm Bavi, please refer to the\nTropical Cyclone Public Advisory issued by the National Weather\nService under WMO header WTPQ31 PGUM and the Tropical Cyclone Warning\nissued by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center under WMO header WTPN31\nPGTW."}
