Many smaller\nstreams will crest tonight into Wednesday with larger rivers\ncresting Wednesday into Thursday such as the Skwentna and Yentna\nrivers.\n\n* Many lower locations along rivers such as gravel bars and other\nspots popular for camping and recreating may become inundated with\nwater with rivers reaching bankful conditions.\n\n* Heavy rain may result in localized ponding in low-lying areas and\nlocations with poor drainage.\n\nConfidence and Next Steps:\n\n* Confidence is high that heavy rainfall will occur across\nportions of Southcentral Alaska, with the northern/western\nSusitna Valley receiving the heaviest rainfall.\n\n* Residents along area streams as well as river users and\nrecreationists should anticipate higher than normal water levels\nand are advised to monitor weather and river forecasts.\n\n* Reports on river conditions may be sent to the river forecast\ncenter by calling 1-907-266-5160."}
