Sensitive groups include people with heart or lung\ndisease, older adults, children/teens, pregnant women, and those\nwho are active outdoors. Members of sensitive groups are advised\nto minimize prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors and take more\nbreaks.\n\nDuring Unhealthy AQI (red category) conditions, some members of\nthe general public may experience health effects and members of\nsensitive groups may experience more serious health effects.\nSensitive groups include people with heart or lung disease, older\nadults, children/teens, pregnant women, and those who are active\noutdoors. Those in sensitive groups are advised to avoid prolonged\nor heavy exertion and consider moving activities indoors.
