The\nlatest forecasts brings the crest at Elkader lower due to lower\nforecast precipitation amounts this evening as well as a slower\nrouting from upstream locations. Much of the uncertainty in these\nriver forecasts stems from uncertainty in how fast the water will\nflow downstream with time.\n\n* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.\n\n* WHERE...Turkey River at Spillville.\n\n* WHEN...Until Monday morning.\n\n* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water begins to impact lower portions of\ncampsites at Riverside Park Campground. Additional water begins to\nwrap around portions of Riverside Park, reaching the baseball field\nbleachers.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 2:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 5.2 feet.\n- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.\n- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late\ntonight to a crest of 10.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
