Timing of peak winds will be later\nthis afternoon through tonight, then gradually tapering Saturday.\nWinds through Turnagain Arm will bend away from west Anchorage\nearly in the day, but could bend into Anchorage later tonight into\nSaturday morning. Periods of rain will accompany the strong winds\nfor Turnagain Arm and the Anchorage and Eagle River Hillsides,\nbut Anchorage Bowl and the MatSu should remain mostly dry until\nSaturday afternoon.\n\nAnchorage Hillside and Turnagain Arm (including South Anchorage):\nWinds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 40 to 55 mph.\n\nAnchorage Bowl, Knik River Valley through Butte and Palmer:\nWinds 10 to 25 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph. Brief, isolated gusts\nto 40 mph is possible in the Butte and Palmer area Friday\nafternoon.\n\nPlease use caution if driving or towing a high profile vehicle,\nor if planning any outdoor activities with easily lofted objects."}
