For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking\nwaves of 8 to 12 feet in the surf zone. For the Beach Hazards\nStatement, high risk of rip currents.\n\n* WHERE...Eastern Currituck County.\n\n* WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, through Sunday evening.\nFor the Coastal Flood Warning, until 11 AM EDT Sunday. For the\nHigh Surf Advisory, until 7 AM EDT Sunday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Widespread flooding of vulnerable areas will result\nin an elevated threat of property damage to homes and businesses\nnear the waterfront and shoreline. Water will be 2 to 3 feet\nabove ground level in some areas resulting in a sufficient depth\nto close numerous roads and threaten homes and businesses.\nFlooding will extend inland from the waterfront along tidal\nrivers and bays resulting in some road closures and flooding of\nvehicles.\n\n## Instructions\nTake the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If\ntravel is required, do not drive around barricades or through\nwater of unknown depth.\n\nRemain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions."}
