Piers may be heavily swamped by\nwaves.\n\n* WHERE...Mason, Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa counties.\n\n* WHEN...From Friday morning through Friday evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water\nand high waves can sweep people off piers.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly winds will increase on Friday to\n15 to 25 mph which will push waves into the 3 to 5 foot range.\nSouth sides of south piers will be the most dangerous places to\nswim, such as, Grand Haven State Park and Pere Marquette Park\nin Muskegon.\n\n## Instructions\nRemain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions\nand do not venture out on piers.
