Flooding may occur\nin poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be\nflooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.\nExtensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are\npossible.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- A dangerous surge of monsoon moisture will arrive Tuesday and\nWednesday with widespread heavy rain.  Scattered occurrences of\nflash flooding are likely, and there will probably be some main\nstem river and tributary flooding, as the most likely rain amount\nby Wednesday afternoon exceeds 2 inches in many locations along\nand east of the central mountain chain, and 1 inch in many\nlocations westward to the continental divide. Stronger storms\nwill produce torrential rainfall at rates over 2 inches per hour,\nand storms will train repeatedly in succession over some\nlocations, with locally heavier rain amounts reaching 4 to 6\ninches over portions of central and eastern New Mexico.  Heavy\nrain will likely continue Wednesday night over eastern areas,\nthen showers and storms with locally heavy rainfall are forecast\nto return along and east of the continental divide again on\nThursday.\n- Rapid runoff and flash flooding will be most likely in complex\nterrain, below recent burn scars, low-lying areas, urban areas,\nnormally dry arroyos, and near rivers and streams.  As the event\nunfolds, locations with saturated ground will also become prone\nto rapid runoff and flash flooding from additional rounds of\nstorms.\n- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood\n\n## Instructions\nYou should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action\nshould Flash Flood Warnings be issued.  Never drive through flood\nwaters.  Most flash flood deaths occur in automobiles."}
