For the  Heat Advisory on Thursday, heat index values up to\n106 expected.\n\n* WHERE...The Big Country, Heartland, and Mason County.\n\n* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening.\nFor the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM CDT Thursday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat\nillnesses.\n\n## Instructions\nA Heat Advisory means that hot weather conditions are occurring or\nexpected. This will create a situation in which heat illnesses are\npossible.\n\nNever, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not\neven for a few minutes. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures\nin a matter of minutes.\n\nStay indoors and seek air-conditioned buildings. Drink water more\nthan usual, and avoid dehydrating alcoholic, sugary, or caffeinated\ndrinks. Dress for the heat by wearing lightweight and light colored\nclothing. Eat small meals and eat more often. Monitor those with a\nhigher vulnerability to heat, including small children. Check in on\nfamily, friends, and neighbors, especially the elderly. If engaging\nin outdoor activity, take longer and more frequent breaks and avoid\nthe hottest parts of the day."}
