The highest water levels are likely with the\nSaturday midday and possibly Sunday midday high tides.\n\n* WHERE...Northeast Suffolk County.\n\n* WHEN...During the times of high tide until 6 PM EDT Sunday.\n\n* COASTAL IMPACTS...Minor to locally moderate flooding is\nexpected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront\nand shoreline. Expect 1 to 2 ft, locally 2 1/2 ft, of inundation\nabove ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads\nand low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and\nhomes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will\nexperience shallow flooding.\n\n* SHOREFRONT/BEACH IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 4 to 8 ft along\nwith elevated water levels will result in areas of dune erosion\nand beach flooding. Splashover over seawalls and overwashes\nwhere dune structures are compromised may locally exacerbate\nflooding of roadways and vulnerable structures behind protective\ndunes.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of minor to moderate coastal\nflooding is possible for the Sunday morning high tide cycle.\n\n## Instructions\nTake the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
