The highest water levels are likely with the\nSaturday midday and possibly Sunday midday high tides.\n\n* WHERE...Bronx, Northwest Suffolk, Northern Queens and Northern\nNassau Counties.\n\n* WHEN...During the times of high tide until 6 PM EDT Sunday.\n\n* COASTAL IMPACTS...Minor to locally moderate flooding is\nexpected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront\nand shoreline. Expect 1 to 2 ft, locally 2 1/2 ft, of inundation\nabove ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads\nand low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and\nhomes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will\nexperience shallow flooding.\n\n* SHOREFRONT/BEACH IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 3 to 6 ft, along\nwith elevated water levels, will result in areas of dune\nerosion with damage to a few waterfront structures possible.\nSplashover over seawalls and overwashes where dune structures\nare compromised may locally exacerbate flooding of roadways and\nvulnerable structures behind protective dunes.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of minor to moderate coastal\nflooding is possible for the Sunday afternoon high tide cycle.\n\n## Instructions\nTake the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
