Minor coastal flooding\nexpected.\n\n* WHERE...Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.\n\n* WHEN...For the High Surf Warning, until 4 PM ChST Thursday. For\nthe Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 AM ChST Wednesday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated\nroad closures expected. Breaking waves can sweep people off\njetties and docks, and into dangerous seas. Life-threatening\nswimming conditions and significant beach erosion can be\nexpected.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Super Typhoon Bavi (09W) and the trailing\nmonsoon surge will continue to produce significant swells\ntowards the Marianas. Dangerous surf heights of up to 20 ft and\ncoastal inundation of 1 to 3 ft can be expected through at least\nthis afternoon, especially along west- and south-facing shores.\nThen, surf will gradually diminish as Bavi moves farther away,\nwhich may warrant the High Surf Warning to be downgraded to an\nAdvisory this afternoon.\n\n## Instructions\nEveryone should remain out of the water due to life-threatening\nsurf conditions. Stay off of jetties, piers, and other waterside\ninfrastructure."}
