This\nwill pose a moderate risk of heat-related illness.\n\n* WHERE...Middle Chehalis River Valley, Lowlands of Lewis and\nSouthern Thurston Counties, Olympia and Southern Puget Sound, and\nWillapa and Black Hills.\n\n* WHEN...From 11 AM Sunday to 5 AM PDT Tuesday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat will significantly increase the risk of\nheat-related illnesses for those who are sensitive to heat,\nespecially those without effective cooling or adequate hydration.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The warmest daytime high temperatures are\nexpected Monday afternoon and the warmest overnight lows are\nexpected Monday night into Tuesday morning. Areas away from water\nmay see localized areas of major HeatRisk.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and\npets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any\ncircumstances.\n\nTake extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When\npossible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or\nevening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat\nstroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible.\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments.
