As this front progresses,\nwe are expecting widespread rain showers and thunderstorms to\ncontinue for the Alaska Range. As of 1:45pm AKST Tuesday portions of\nthe eastern Alaska Range have already reported more than 1\" of rain.\nAs of Tuesday afternoon, heavy rain continues to spread west,\nbringing an additional inch or more of rain. This heavy rain may\nresult in rapid rising waters along rivers/streams coming out of the\nAlaska Range over the Tanana Valley. However, flooding is not\nexpected due to the dry antecedent conditions."}
