More rain is expected beginning\nTuesday and will continue through Wednesday afternoon. Storm\ntotal rainfall during this time will be around 0.50\" to 1.00\". It\nhas been very wet lately and this amount of rain has the\npotential to bring the Chena and Little Chena Rivers above minor\nflood stage beginning Wednesday.\n\n- This means low-lying and typical flood-prone areas may\nexperience areas of flooding from Wednesday through the end of\nthe week as water levels gradually rise then fall. In addition,\nwhile we are not expecting much flooding away from rivers,\nstreams and creeks, as the ground is already saturated and may\nstruggle to hold more water. This can lead to pooling and ponding\nof water across the area which may make travel difficult in\nlocalized spots.\n\n- There is some uncertainty with exact timing and amounts of\nrainfall but as details become clearer, we will continue to\nupdate.\n\n- For more updated river information, please refer to\nwater.noaa.gov or weather.gov/aprfc\n\n## Instructions\nStay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio,\ntelevision, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.\n\nYou should monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible\nFlood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be\nprepared to take action should flooding develop."}
