However, the heat will be\ndangerous regardless of whether or not advisory criteria is met.\nWidespread heat index values of 105-107F (41-42C) are expected.\nLocally higher heat index values above 108F (43C +) are likely\nduring the afternoon hours, especially in areas influenced by the\nurban heat island. The heat will become dangerous as early as the\nlate morning hours. If spending time outdoors, please drink plenty\nof water and wear light colored clothing. Do not leave children\nor pets in vehicles. If the pavement is too hot for your feet, it\nis too hot for your pet's paws."}
