However, there\nremains a high probability of temperatures meeting Major HeatRisk\ntoday. This is especially true within the valleys.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in a cool place during the heat of the\nday, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and\nneighbors. For those without air conditioning, use fans to keep air\nmoving. Keeps windows closed during the day and open at night,\nunless air quality is degraded due to wildfire smoke.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose\nfitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning\nor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and\nheat stroke.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles.
