Between 1.5 and 3 inches of\nrain had fallen earlier this afternoon resulting in flash flooding.\n\nHAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.\n\nSOURCE...Emergency management reported.\n\nIMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,\nhighways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor\ndrainage and low-lying areas.\n\nSome locations that may be experiencing flash flooding include...\nHennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Ladd, Dalzell, Bureau Junction,\nPutnam, Seatonville, Hollowayville, Coal Hollow, Lake Thunderbird,\nOttville and Lone Tree Corners.\n\nThis includes the following State Parks...\nDonnelley DePue State Fish and Wildlife Area.\n\nThis includes the following highways...\nInterstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 11.\nInterstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 66 and 72.\n\n## Instructions\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
