Near normal temperatures, which include above freezing\novernight temperatures, are predicted as we enter next week.\n\nMost of the remaining snowpack is in the foothills and mountains\nwhere temperatures will be highest. This could lead to rapid melt\nand river rises.\n\nMost of the ice on the larger rivers has already moved out which\nleaves more room to accommodate the increasing snowmelt.  This\ncontrasts with last year's late breakup when the snowmelt all\nentered the river systems while ice was mainly still in place.\n\nRising and water levels in rivers can be expected as this melt is\ninitiated and moves through the river systems this weekend and into\nnext week."}
