For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot\nconditions with heat index values in excess of 110F degrees\nexpected.\n\n* WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas and central, north central,\nand northwest Mississippi.\n\n* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the\nExtreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM to 9 PM CDT Monday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high\nhumidity may cause heat illnesses.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car\ninteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose\nfitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning\nor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and\nheat stroke.\n\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments.
