Central and East Los Angeles, San Gabrieal Valley and\nSoutheast LA county. Levels of particle pollution can vary by time\nand location depending on emissions and local weather conditions.\n\n* WHEN...until 12:30 PM Sunday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Particle pollution can get deep into the lungs and cause\nserious health problems such as heart attacks, bronchitis, asthma\nattacks, and difficulty breathing. Everyone can be affected, but\nsensitive groups such as people with lung or heart disease, older\nadults, people who are pregnant, children, and those who spend a lot\nof time outdoors are at greater risk.\n\n## Instructions\nTo protect your health, check air quality levels and act as needed:\n\n* When Air Quality Index (AQI) levels are \"Unhealthy for\nSensitive Groups\" (orange), sensitive groups as specified\nabove should limit extended or intense outdoor activity.\n* When AQI is \"Unhealthy\" (red), everyone may experience health\nimpacts. Sensitive groups should avoid extended time outdoors.\n* When AQI is \"Very Unhealthy\" (purple), sensitive groups should\navoid all outdoor physical activity.
