The\nNueces River crossing at Barksdale is very dangerous. East of Camp\nWood Farm to Market 337 crosses Camp Wood Creek in three places.\nVehicular related drownings have occurred at all these sites.\nAt 14.0 feet, Moderate flooding with flow exceeding the banks of\nrecreation camps in northern Uvalde County endangering sleeping\ncampers and washing autos and gear downstream. Highway 55 crosses\nHackberry Creek above Barksdale and the Nueces River at Barksdale.\nFarm to Market 337 crosses Camp Wood Creek east of Camp Wood in\nthree places. All these crossings have had vehicular related\ndrownings.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 2:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.5 feet.\n- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.\n- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours\nending at 2:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 18.3 feet.\n- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this\nevening before a secondary rise to moderate stage of 14.6\nfeet tomorrow evening.\n- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.\n- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of\n14.4 feet on 08/12/2018.\n- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood\n\n## Instructions\nPlease report observed flooding to local emergency services or law\nenforcement and request they pass this information to the National\nWeather Service when you can do so safely.\n\nTo escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.\n\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
