As a result, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center has\nclosed this Invest. Periods of locally heavy showers will continue\nto be associated with a monsoon pattern across western Micronesia\nover the next few days. An area of diffluence between the remnants of\n90W and a broad circulation south of the equator is fragmenting the\nleading edge of the monsoon pattern over Chuuk State this evening.\nStill, light to moderate westerly winds and scattered to numerous\nshowers continue through midweek due to the proximity of the monsoon\ntrough.\n\nThis will be the last Special Weather Statement issued for this\nevent.
