Swimming, tubing, and\ncanoeing above Guadalupe River State Park to Canyon Lake is\ndangerous except with commercial outfitters.\nAt 30.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding rises into the flood plain at\nGuadalupe River State Park damaging tables, trash cans and camping\nequipment. Swimming and any recreation in the river is extremely\ndangerous with turbulence, trees and trash in the water.\nAt 36.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding reaches secondary roads\nand low bridges in the flood plain. Recreationists should evacuate\nthe river banks because of dangerous turbulent flow. Low sections\nof Guadalupe River State Park have tables, trash cans, and\nequipment damaged. Lowest homes in Kendall County to Canyon Lake\nflood.\nAt 39.0 feet, Major flooding reaches secondary roads and low\nbridges near the river making them extremely dangerous to\nmotorists. The lowest residences flood from Kendall County to\nCanyon Lake. Picnic and camping facilities in Guadalupe River\nState Park upstream are severely flooded. Roads, marinas, and many\nparks and facilities at Canyon Lake flood.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 3:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.8 feet.\n- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.\n- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening\nto 40.1 feet late this evening.
